University of Limerick

The IEEE ITSS Student Branch chapter is an active branch at the University of Limerick. This student branch has 15 research student members and is growing. We are researchers of the Intelligent Transportation Systems research wing of the D2iCE Research Centre at the University of Limerick, actively involved in autonomous perception and sensing systems, BEV networks, and other autonomous driving systems.

We have organised many technical activities, including an industrial visit to automotive companies such as JLR and FMCI Shannon in Ireland. We have also conducted technical talks from Prof. Alexander Braun and Prof. Valentina Donzella as part of the IEEE ITSS Student Branch activities.
