Bio:
Liuqing Yang is a Professor at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Colorado State University. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Her current research interests are in areas of vehicular communications, networks, systems, standards, communications-enabled road and vehicle safety, future telematics applications, and ITS-based services. In particular, she focuses on the confluence of transportation technologies with communications technologies, which integrate interdisciplinary research. She is a Fellow of IEEE, the CPSS Department Editor for IEEE Intelligent Systems, Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, a BoG member of the IEEE ITSS, and the Chair of the IEEE ITSS. She has published more than 220 journal and conference papers, 2 book chapters and 1 book
