Ali Hassan Sodhro
Ali Hassan Sodhro is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences, at the Mid Sweden University, stersund, Sweden. He is the head of research and international collaboration committee at Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan. He is also a visiting scientists at Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (CAS, SIAT) under CAS Presidents International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) 2019/2021 Shenzhen, China. He is an assistant professor in Electrical Engineering Department of Sukkur IBA University (SIBAU), Sukkur, Sindh Pakistan. Moreover, he is a visiting researcher at Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering, Lule University of Technology, Lule, Sweden.He was a Lecturer in the in Electrical Engineering Department of Sukkur IBA University (SIBAU), Sukkur, Sindh Pakistan, 2009-2016. He was also a visiting Lecturer at Applied IT department, Gothenburg University (GU), Gothenburg, Sweden. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Computer and Information Science Department, Linkping University (LiU), Linkping, Sweden 2018-2020. Prior to LiU he was an Erasmus Munduss postdoctoral researcher at Decision & Information Sciences for Production Systems (DISP) lab, at University Lumiere Lyon2, Lyon, France, under SMARTLINK Project 2017-2018. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Applications Technology at Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (CAS, SIAT), 2016. He holds Masters and Bachelors degrees in Communication Systems and Networks (CSN) and Telecommunication Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan (2010) and (2008) respectively. His research interests are smart transportation especially Internet of Vehicles (IoVs) for pervasive healthcare, intelligent and energy-efficient communication systems, Internet of Things and 5G networks for smart transportation, smart healthcare and smart medical cities.
