Mahnam Saeednia is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences at TU Delft in the department of Transport and Planning. Previously, she was R&D project lead at Siemens Mobility (Hacon Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH) and a postdoctoral researcher at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). Mahnam's area of research addresses current challenges of freight transport sector, specifically in the domains of railway freight, intermodal freight transportation, automation, digitalization and energy transition.
