Montasir Abbas is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech and Director of the VT-SCORES lab. He received his Master's and PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Purdue University in 1997 and 2001, respectively, and his BSc degree from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, in 1993.
