Bio:
F. Richard Yu is a Professor at Carleton University, Canada. He received the PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC). His research interests include machine learning and embodied AI, autonomous systems, IoT, and blockchain. He has been named in the Clarivate Analytics list of ``Highly Cited Researchers" since 2019, and received several Best Paper Awards from some first-tier conferences. He is a Board Member the IEEE VTS and the Editor-in-Chief for IEEE VTS Mobile World newsletter. He is a Member of the Academia Europaea (MAE), a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE), Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), IEEE, and IET. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE.
