onas Mårtensson is Professor of Automatic Control with applications in Transportation Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is the director of the Integrated Transport Research Lab (ITRL), a multi-disciplinary research center on sustainable transport systems in collaboration with Swedish industry and public actors. He received the PhD degree from KTH in 2007. He has a broad research interest evolving around efficient and sustainable transport systems including cooperative traffic control and control of connected and automated vehicles, with a particular interest for freight and heavy vehicles.
