Bio:
Anahita Jamshidnejad is Assistant Professor of Systems and Control Theory at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), where she founded and leads the Mathematical Decision-Making group and the AI*MAN Lab. Her research focuses on dynamic mathematical modeling of human perception, cognition, and decision-making, and on systems-and-control-theoretic methods for human-centered autonomy. She develops robust and intelligent model predictive control (MPC) frameworks, fuzzy-logic-based decision-making architectures, and integrated MPC-AI approaches for autonomous systems. Her work spans intelligent transportation systems and robotics. She received her PhD (cum laude) from TU Delft in 2017 and has since supervised multiple PhD, postdoctoral, and MSc researchers. Her research has been recognized with several distinctions, including the IEEE ITSS Best PhD Dissertation Award (1st Prize).
