Hailong Liu is an Associate Professor of Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan. He received the B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering from Ritsumeikan University, Japan, in 2013, 2015, and 2018, respectively. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Member of JSAE, JSAI, and SICE. He holds memberships in IEEE ITSS, RAS, SMC. He also serves on the Human Factors in ITS Committee of IEEE ITSS. He was awarded the IEEE IV Best Student Paper Award in 2015 and the IEEE GCCE Outstanding Paper Award in 2016.
