T-ITS Editorial Board Member

Javier A. Barria (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Imperial College London, London, U.K., in 1994. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Intelligent Systems and Networks Group, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London. He has been the joint holder of several European Union Framework and U.K. Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council project contracts, mainly concerned with his research interest in monitoring strategies on networked systems. Dr. Barria was a British Telecom Research Fellow from 2001 to 2002. He is also a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a Chartered Engineer in the U.K.
