We recently held a successful awareness campaign during the Annual IEEE Kenya Section Dinner 2024, where we set up an Information Desk to engage attendees and share insights about the IEEE ITS Society. This effort, in collaboration with the local IEEE section and event organizers, helped highlight the relevance of ITS in addressing Kenya’s emerging challenges and opportunities, particularly in electric mobility and intelligent transportation systems.
Our goal is to make these awareness activities more frequent by partnering with IEEE event organizers, local government, and other stakeholders especially at such a time when Kenya if embracing e-mobility, BRT systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems. This will enable us to establish a strong and relevant membership base that aligns with ITS strategic objectives.
Currently, the Kenya Section ITS membership stands at 14 members which is subject to increment as we continue in this course.
We believe such initiatives will play a crucial role in expanding the ITS community in Kenya and beyond, ensuring a robust network to support ITS objectives and regional strategic plans.
Lastly, kindly guide on the details for concur levels.
Thank you for your continued support and guidance.
Kind Regards,
