Delhi Chapter

The Chapter was inaugurated on 19th November 2019 and has been conducting various events since then. The aim of the chapter is to bring awareness regarding IEEE, IEEE ITSS and develop a platform for interaction and discussions in the areas of ITS, IV and ADAS especially for unstructured environments. The Chapter aims to increase the memberships at all levels: students, young professionals and from industry and academia.

1. We have organized three international workshops “Workshop on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Intelligent Vehicles and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for Unstructured Environments” (ITSIVUE) in 2020, 2021 and 2022, co-located with IEEE IV 2020, 2021 and 2022 respectively.
2. The Chapter also organized the 16th International Conference on Service Operations, and Logistics and Informatics (SOLI 2022) in collaboration with the CRFID Delhi Section.

Milestones

The Chapter activities are ongoing, with special emphasis on increasing the chapter memberships.

We recently also conducted the Execom meeting on 12th October 2023 at 2:30 PM IST to discuss the upcoming chapter activities and steps to increase the memberships.

ITSS Delhi Chapter co-organized a workshop on Blockchain Technologies to increase the interests of yourng researchers and students to new technologies that shall play an important role in ITS in the future. The Workshop was an in-person workshop organized at Delhi Technological University, Delhi on 12th October 2023 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with speakers from IEEE, academia and industry.
