ITSS Chapter Formation
The ITS Society encourages its members to learn more about ITS by meeting locally and bringing in expert speakers. If you and your colleagues are interested in forming an ITS chapter in your IEEE Section, please see information on forming a new chapter.
Please be sure to examine your Eligibility to Form a Society Chapter: The organizer of a new Chapter must be of Member, Senior Member of Fellow grade. A minimum of 12 higher grade members are required to sign the new Chapter petition.
Please contact the ITSS VP for Membership for questions related to membership issue. Please contact the ITSS VP for Technical Activities for matters related to local chapter’s activities.

Distinguished Lecturer Program
The purpose of the IEEE Distinguished Lecturer program is to provide the Intelligent Transportation Systems local chapters with outstanding speakers for meetings, conferences, and other events and to recognize the professional contributions of the selected Distinguished Lecturers. The program encourages the collection, dissemination and sharing of technical knowledge.
