Lily Elefteriadou is the Director of the UF Transportation Institute (UFTI), and the Barbara Goldsby Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Florida. She received her Ph.D. from the New York Universitys Polytechnic Institute in 1994, her MS from Auburn University in 1990, and her Graduate Diploma from Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1987. She has received several awards for her research including the 2021 ARTBA SS. Steinberg Award and the 2019 ASCE Harland Bartholomew Award. She is the author of a textbook on Traffic Flow Theory and more than 300 papers and reports.
