Silvia Siri is Associate Professor of Automatic Control at the University of Genova, Italy. She received her Masters and PhD degrees from the University of Genova in 2002 and 2006, respectively. Her research interests deal with modelling, optimization and control of complex dynamical systems, in the area of traffic, logistics and energy systems. She is co-author of more than 120 papers in international journals, international books and international conference proceedings and she is also co-author of a Springer monograph. She has taken part in many editorial activities, as Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transport Systems, Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering and as member of the International Program Committee or Associate Editor of numerous international conferences and events in the area of automatic control, operations research and transportation systems. She is member of some IEEE and IFAC Technical Committees and since 2019 she has been Member of the Board of Governors of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society.
