Bio:
Anh-Tu Nguyen is an Associate Professor at the INSA Hauts-de-France engineering school, Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France, Valenciennes, France. He is also a researcher at the laboratory LAMIH-CNRS, UMR 8201, Valenciennes, France.He was a postdoctoral researcher at the laboratories LAMIH-CNRS, Valenciennes, France (2014-2016) and LS2N-CNRS, Nantes, France (2016- 2018). He completed his Ph.D. in Automatic Control at the University of Valenciennes (2013) in collaboration with Valeo Group. He was a research engineer at the French Institute of Petroleum, Paris, France (2010). He holds an engineering degree and a Master degree both in Automatic Control from Grenoble Institute of Technology, Grenoble, France (2009). Dr. Nguyen was a visiting researcher at various international institutions: European Center for Soft Computing, Spain (2014), University of Electro-Communications, Japan (2014), Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan (2015), Beihang University, China (2017, 2019), Shanghai Maritime University, China (2017). His research interests include robust control and estimation, intelligent and fuzzy control systems, human-machine shared control with a strong emphasis on mechatronics applications, in which he has contributed over 60 papers in international journals and conferences. Dr. Nguyen was a recipient of the four-year grant for scientific excellence (PEDR) from the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (2020-2024), the Academic Excellence Scholarship dedicated to exceptional PFIEV students (2007-2009). He serves as a Topic Editor for the international journal Applied Science, and Guest Editor for various journals such as IET Intelligent Transport Systems, IET Control Theory & Applications, SAE International Journal of Connected and Automated Vehicles, Electronics.
