T-ITS Editorial Board Member

Bi Yu CHEN is a professor in GIS for Transportation at the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing, Wuhan University, China. He is also the Executive Director of Geocompuation Center for Social Science at Wuhan University. He received the Bachelor degree in surveying and mapping engineering and the Master degree in GIS from Wuhan University, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and the PhD degree in transportation planning from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in 2012. He has published over 50 journal papers in Transportation, GIS and Geography fields, and most of them were published in top-rank journals such as IEEE T-ITS, TR Part A-E, JTG, IJGIS, Annals of AAG, etc. He has been serving as associate editor for Transportmetrica B; guest editor for several journals such as Transactions in GIS and Transportmetrica A; active reviewer for more than 40 international journals.
