Bio:
Ge Guo (M?09, SM?14), received the B.S. degree and the PhD degree from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 1994 and 1998, respectively. In 1999 he joined Lanzhou University of Technology, Lanzhou, China, where he was the Director of the Institute of Intelligent Control and Robots and a Professor from July 2004 to May 2005. He then worked in Dalian Maritime University, China, as a Professor with the Department of Automation. He is now a Full Professor and head of the Research Center of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Northeastern University, China. Dr. Guo is the Managing Editor of International Journal of Systems, Control and Communications and an Associate Editor of several journals like Information Sciences, IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Magazine, and ACTA Automatica Sinica. He was an Outstanding Reviewer of several journals like Annual Reviews in Control, Journal of Franklin Institute, ISA Transactions, Asian Journal of Control. He was a New Century Excellent Talents in University, Ministry of Education, a Gansu Province?s Top Ten Excellent Youths, the CAA Young Scientist Award receiver, Dalian Leading Talent and Qian Jiang Scholar Professor of Zhejiang, China. He has published over 100 international journal papers and 3 monographs and was invited as Plenary Speakers in a variety of conferences. He has been serving as a project manager, PI/Co-PI and key technical contributor for many research projects in his research area. Currently, he is the PI of a State Key Project on Operation Optimization of Mobility on Demand Systems with Connected and Shared Vehicles.
