Bio:
Houbing Song is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EE&CS) and the Director of the Security and Optimization for Networked Globe Laboratory (SONG Lab, www.SONGLab.us) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Daytona Beach, Florida, USA. He is an affiliated researcher with the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)s Center for Advanced Transportation Mobility (CATM) Tier 1 University Transportation Center.He was an engineering research associate at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute in 2007. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Virginia (2012). He holds Masters degrees in Civil Engineering from University of Texas at El Paso (2006). His research interests are autonomous driving, AI/machine learning-enabled intelligent transportation systems and smart cities, secure and trustworthy transportation cyber-physical systems, AND Advance Aerial Mobility.
