Mi Lu is a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at the Texas A&M University (TAMU), College Station, USA. She was an associate professor in the ECE Department at TAMU, 1993-1998. Prior to that, she was an assistant professor in the ECE Department at TAMU, 1987-1993. She completed her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Rice University, Houston, USA (1987). She holds masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University (1984).Her research interests are parallel computing, image processing, AI, and their applications in intelligent transportations.
