Ming YANG is a Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Executive Director of Innovation Center of Intelligent Connected Vehicles, and Acting Dean of University of Michigan - Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute. He received his Masters and PhD in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in 1999 and 2003 respectively. He has been engaged in the research of intelligent vehicles for 25 years, focusing on perception, localization, and mapping. His research results are widely applied to a range of scenarios, such as the driverless shuttle, the driverless logistics, etc. He has published more than 200 academic papers and served as the co-chair of IEEE IV2012201720192021.
