T-ITS Editorial Board Member

Qing He is Professor and Vice Department Chair of Road and Railway Engineering, School of Civil Engineering at Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), China. He is also the Associate Director of high-speed rail engineering lab of Ministry of Education, China. He obtained his BS and MS from SWJTU and PhD from University of Arizona. Then he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in IBM T J Watson Research Center. He was an Associate Professor at University at Buffalo (UB), The State University of New York before joined SWJTU. Hes research focuses on road and rail modeling, design and data analysis and decision making in transportation infrastructure intelligent maintenance. He is associate editor of ASCE Journal of Transportation Engineering Part A: Systems, and handling editor of Transportation Research Record. Dr. He chairs ITS group of INFORMS Transportation Science and Logistics (TSL). He has published more than 60 journal papers.
