Bio:
Dr. Qingbin Gao received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2011 and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Connecticut in 2015. He has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at California State University, Long Beach from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 till 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama. Starting from August 2019, he joined the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation at the Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) as an Associate Professor.Dr. Gao's main research focuses on the stability analysis and control synthesis of time-delay systems with applications to multi-agent systems, manufacturing, connected vehicles, human learning, power systems and vibrations. He is the recipient of the Best Conference Paper Award of the 19th International Conference on Networking, Sensing, and Control (ICNSC) in 2017 and the 6th American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Dynamic Systems and Control Conference (DSCC) in 2013
