Dr. Truong Quang Dinh is an Assistant Professor in Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), the University of Warwick. He has been central to the growth of WMG?s Energy System Management and Control (for Future of Mobility) research group and the V-Design Control LAB. He has successfully developed a research funding portfolio of over 7m for his departments, focusing on intelligent and efficient transportation, construction and energy systems.He received B.Eng. and D.Eng. degree in Mechatronics from Hochiminh City University of Technology (Vietnam) in 2006 and University of Ulsan (Korea) in 2010, respectively. Prior to WMG, he was a research professor (2012-2015) and senior research fellow (2011-2012) at the University of Ulsan.He has done extensive research in the areas of control theories, control applications and automation, energy saving, management and optimisation, low carbon technologies for transportation and construction sectors. He has published 70 articles at high quality journals, 94 conference papers, 3 book and chapters, and 4 patents. He has delivered 20 keynote speeches and invited talks at renowned conferences and industrial events and, received more than 10 journals and conference paper awards. He is technical committee member of IEEE IES ? Motion and Control board and Secretary of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society ? Region 8 UKRI. He has been invited as: general chair, programme chair, and section chair for many international conferences; steering committee members of international conference series, such as ICMT (International Conference on Mechatronics Technology), and PMC (Powertrain Modelling and Control); editorial member and lead guest editor for several international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Energies, Electronics, Actuators, International Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems. He is a frequent reviewer for over 20 high quality Q1 journals. Currently, he is the program chair of the International Conference on Frontiers of Systems, Process and Control ? FSPC 2020, Thailand; general co-chair and program chair of the 24th International Conference on Mechatronics Technology ? ICMT 2021, Singapore.
