Xianfu Lei is an Associate Professor with the School of Information Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University. He is Vice Director of International Cooperation Research Centre of Communications & Sensor Networks for Modern Transportation. He received his Ph.D. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2012. From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Utah State University. His current research interests are in areas of vehicular communications and networking, high-speed train communications, wireless sensor networks for modern transportation, and 5G6G based ITS design. He is the authorcoauthor of over 110 papers. He received the IEEECIC ICCC’20 Best Paper Award, IEEE WCSP’18 Best Paper Award, WCSP 10-Year Anniversary Excellent Paper Award, IEEE Communications Letters Exemplary Editor Award, and Natural Science Award of China Institute of Communications. He is an Area Editor for IEEE Communications Letters and an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Communications and IEEE Wireless Communications Letters. He served as SeniorAssociate Editor for IEEE Communications Letters from 2014 to 2019.
