Dr. Yue Hou is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering of Faculty of Science and Engineering at Swansea University, UK. Dr. Hou’s research interests are focused on the resilient and intelligent transportation infrastructure and materials, physics-informed machine learning in transportation infrastructure engineering, design of sustainable infrastructure and materials using digital twins, and energy harvesting on transportation infrastructures. In his career, he has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journalconference papers, participated in many international conferences including TRB, EMI, SES, etc. He is currently the Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)-Engineering Sustainability, Computers & Electrical Engineering, and serving as the editorial board member for some other international journals, co-edited many special issues of journals and reviewer for more than 50 journals conferences.
