Dr. Zhengcai Cao is a Full Professor in the Department of Information Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China. He is a deputy dean of the Office of Scientific Research and Development, at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China. He is also a Beijing Leading Talent in 2019.He received the B.S. degree in automation from the Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology, Harbin, China, in 1996, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in mechatronic engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. From 2006 to 2008, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Research Center of Control Science and Engineering, Tongji University. In 2008, he became a Faculty Member with the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China, where he is currently a Professor. From 2014 to 2015, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Kings College London, London, U.K.
