Zhongbao Wei is a Professor of Vehicular Engineering with the Advanced Research Institute of Multidisciplinary Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. He received the B.Eng. and the M.Sc. degrees in instrumental science and technology from Beihang University, China, in 2010 and 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in power engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2017. He has been a research fellow with Energy Research Institute @ NTU, Nanyang Technological University from 2016 to 2018.He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed articles. His research interests include electric vehicles, intelligent transportation, vehicle battery and fuel cell system management. He has been a recipient of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award, Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Student Abroad, Best Paper Award for Applied Energy, Best Paper Award of CCSSTA 2020, and Applied Energy Best Reviewer Award, in the past 5 years. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics, IET Intelligent Transportation Systems, IET Renewable Power Generation, Journal of Power Electronics, and Guest Editor for Elsevier journal Energy, and on the Editorial Board for the journal of Energies.
