The IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) Student Branch Chapter at IIIT Sri City, established on 8 December 2024 under the IEEE Hyderabad Section (Region 10), serves as a vibrant platform for promoting research, innovation, and professional development in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The chapter aims to foster collaboration among students, faculty, researchers, and industry professionals by encouraging academic exchange, supporting hands-on learning, and advancing smart mobility solutions. Through initiatives such as certificate programs on IoT and Autonomous Systems, hackathons focused on AI-driven intelligent mobility, innovation pitch events, technical workshops, and expert lectures, the chapter actively disseminates emerging ITS technologies and promotes interdisciplinary engagement. It strives to connect the student community with the global IEEE ITSS network, enhance industry-academia collaboration, and cultivate future leaders in intelligent and sustainable transportation systems.
